To My Camp, The Fans, The DJs, MCs and the Labels,
I don't usually get on here and blog like this, but Im riding on this train to Baltimore and I said why not share my day.
It all started where it began if that makes sense I was driving in a terrible rain storm; the type where cars pull over cause they can barely see the road. It was about 8:07 and I was headed to BWI to catch my amtrak train to NY. Why was I headed up there? I had a meeting with Universal Records.

My plan went like this: {excuse the omissions, I will fill those in later}While on the train do an interview with Chubb Rock on 88.1FM in NC, Get to NY by 12;13, meet my cousin BK at Penn station, stay at his crib for the night, take a train into NYC by 2:30, meet with A&R at Universal Records, do another with Chubb on Can We Talk Radio, Book a show with Jube @ SoBs, take the train and arrive back in Baltimore by 11:52, get up at 4am and head to work in DC by 6:00am, Whooooooooooooooo, got all of that out, whoooo.

Okay, okay, let me fill in the meat of this story. When I first entered the train the lighting was very dim and I noticed just about everyone was silent. There were plenty of open seats, so I just picked one. I thought to myself at first, I like this, I didn't want to hear anybodys mouth anyway. I leaned my head back and BLAM I see a blue sign that says Quiet Car, no loud talking and no use of Cellphones. It then dawned on me that I had to call into 88.1FM for and interview @ 10pm. It was about 9:40 at this time and the train was moving, so I couldn't switch cars. My first instincts was hey Ill just use the bathroom and do it in there. Then I said to myself if I do that people might think I was taking a long dump in the bathroom or someone may just need to use it. I thought dammmnnn I may not be able to do this interview. Luckily the train made a stop in downtown Baltimore after BWI, whooo. I headed to a different car on the train and hit my man Noiminal at 88.1 Fm a little after 10pm. By the way,Nominal Mixes and blends my podcast Revolt Radio {http://www.wordsmith.podomatic.com} every Wed. From 8 to 9pm. That's how u shoot a plug into ya story people, haaa. We talked about Chubb and I Bridging the Gap album, upcoming shows, new music, etc. Chubb hopped on around 10:15 when I stepped off the phone. I then went to my twitter and promoted the interview a little more and plugged tomorrows interview with Can We Talk Radio. With about a hour left of the trip I pretty much blacked out and woke up when we hit Penn Station in NY.

The train rolled in about 12:14 and I was starving. I headed to one of the shops in there and bought some chex mix and a Fuze while I waited for my cousin BK to show up. I found a nice little dirty spot on floor and proceeded to tear into the bag of Chex mix like a savage beast. Mind you there was a conglomerate {said in Busta Rhymes Voice} of Phillies and Mets fans sitting in dirt piles as well. When one of the trains rolled up everyone moved out like a heard and headed downstairs. When the dust settled it was myself and a few other people left. Again, I am tewaring into the chec mix, minding my business and an over weight Cop walks up to me and says you can't wait on your train sitting down, you need to be standing {kind of an italian voice if I could describe it} I asked him why and he said by law you can't wait for a train sitting on the ground. I then said did you not see like 50 people from the Mets game sitting on the floor in groups a few minutes ago. Get this, I guess to affirm he saw it to but didn't give a damn he shoots me a weak line like "Do lights turn green?" I don't curse but WTF!!!!! In the end I had to get up and continue my thrashing of the chex mix later. I found a spot to stand and it sucked cause I wasn't as comfortable slamming these chexs in my mouth cause I had to stand. To my luck one of the other cops was like look, go ahead and sit in the waiting area until your ride comes. I told the man thanks and limped into the waiting area. I know I didn't cover this, but I severly injured my Achilles in April playing Flag Football. I will tell anyone and I had knee surgery before, this may be the worst injury I ever had. Im basically having to learn how to walk again and Im am still going out there and doing shows; its just frustrating that's all. Back to the story, 5 min after sitting in there my cuz calls me and says, "yo where are you, oh Im looking right at you." TO BE COnTINuED!!!
